Introducing the Tall Boy 9 7/8" – a versatile sliding shelf designed for convenient storage of soda bottles, paper towels, or even your DIY trash systems.

## Clear Opening Width
The clear opening width refers to the space between the two narrowest points of your cabinet's opening, where the shelf will be installed. Consider any protruding hinges, doors, or face frames that may affect this measurement. Generally, the lower pullout shelf is slightly narrower than the upper one due to hinge interference. For frameless cabinets, deduct space for the L brackets used by the Base or Half Shelf Mounting Styles.
**Note:** Do not measure existing pullout shelves or drawers to determine the clear opening width.
## Shelf Depth
Choose the shelf depth that fits within your available cabinet interior depth, accounting for any doors or framing. This is the actual length of the pullout shelf. If you select the Rear Socket Mounting Style, please allow an additional 1/4" for the shelf depth to ensure a proper fit.
**Important:** Do not select a depth larger than your cabinet's interior depth.
## Mounting Styles
- **Base Mount:** Attaches to any existing surface, such as the bottom or floor of the cabinet, or a full fixed/adjustable shelf.
- **Half Shelf Mount:** Utilizes an existing half shelf in the back of the cabinet or a shelf that is more than 2" shorter than the cabinet depth.
- **Side Mount:** Ideal for mounting an upper shelf without an existing fixed/adjustable shelf. Attaches to the interior sidewalls with spacers or wood strips, allowing the pullout to fit through the opening.
- **Rear Socket Mount:** Similar to the Side Mount, but the rear of the shelf is attached to the cabinet's back wall.
*Note:* The Half Shelf, Side Mount, and Rear Socket Mounting Styles all attach to the face frame or sides of the cabinet at the front; only the rear attachment differs.
Spacers are not automatically included but can be found in our Hardware Section.
