# Medium Sliding Shelf
When you need a little extra height, our Medium High Shelf is the perfect solution. It’s ideal for organizing boxed foods in your pantry or keeping your plasticware neatly contained.
## What's Included:

-  1 or 2 Door Protectors per shelf (1 protector for shelves under 19" wide)

## Clear Opening Width
This measurement refers to the available space between the narrowest two points of your cabinet's opening at the level where the shelf will be installed. Be mindful of any protruding hinges, doors, or face frames. Typically, the lower pullout shelf will be slightly narrower than the upper due to hinge interference at the bottom. If you have a frameless cabinet, you may need to account for the L Brackets used by the Base or Half Shelf Mounting Styles.
**Note:** Do not measure existing pullout shelves or drawers to determine the clear opening width.
## Shelf Depth
Choose a shelf depth that fits within your available cabinet interior depth, behind any doors or framing. This is the actual length of the pullout shelf. Please allow for an extra 1/4" when ordering, as the Rear Socket Mounting Style may add this additional length.
**Important:** Do not select a depth larger than your interior cabinet depth.
## Mounting Styles
- **Base Mount:** Attaches on top of any existing surface, such as the bottom or floor of the cabinet, or a full fixed/adjustable shelf.
- **Half Shelf Mount:** Utilizes any existing half shelf in the back of the cabinet or an existing shelf that is more than 2" shorter than the cabinet depth.
- **Side Mount:** Ideal for mounting an upper shelf without an existing fixed/adjustable shelf, attaching to the interior sidewalls using a spacer or wood strip to ensure the pullout can slide through the opening.
- **Rear Socket Mount:** Similar to the Side Mount, but attaches the rear of the shelf to the cabinet's back wall.
The Half Shelf, Side Mount, and Rear Socket Mounting Styles all attach to the face frame or sides of the cabinet at the front; only the rear attachment varies.
